Over 2 billion unreached people.
68 million are Deaf.
The unreached mean everything to God. Shouldn’t they be a priority for us, too? There are over 1,500 UUPGs — Unreached and Unengaged People Groups. No Christians are trying to reach these people groups, and there are no believers living among them. As explained here, the International Day for the Unreached (IDU) is all about empowering believers to stand for the unreached.
There are approximately 70 million Deaf people worldwide, and less than two percent of them know Christ. According to Finishing the Task, more than 20% of UUPGs with a population over 100,000 are Deaf.
On IDU Sunday, let’s reach the Deaf for Christ.
When you give to our “Where Most Needed” fund, it allows our Deaf leaders to reach Deaf people in every circumstance.
At the bottom of the Donate page there is a section title “Additional Information.” Please select WHERE MOST NEEDED from the drop-down menu. In the “Comments” box, please specify International Deaf Ministry.
