Life is far from easy in war-torn Burundi. Violence is commonplace, and the humanitarian situation is deteriorating. Nonetheless, God is moving among Deaf Burundians in mighty ways. The Gospel is becoming real to Deaf people like Jean Marie.

I sat down to dinner that night with two Deaf translators from South Sudan. They had invested blood, sweat, and tears to complete these Scripture portions, and I thought they might be disappointed about the cancellation.
